Backcountry skis

Backcountry skis are lighter than alpine skis, to facilitate climbing. In addition, skins can be glued underneath to avoid recoil by adhering better during the ascent. Belledonne massif

Bulgarian massifs

Bulgaria has many mountains, including two massifs:

Pirin

This massif, whose name comes from that of the Slavic thunder god (Peruin), is part of the ensemble formed by the Rila and the Rhodopes. The water is very present, which makes the waterfalls quite frequent. Finally, its highest peak is the Vihren peak at 2,914 m.

Rila

A mountainous massif to the southwest, its highest peak is the Musala (2,925 m). Moreover, it is the highest massif of the Balkan Peninsula. In addition, it has about 200 lakes and many mineral springs.
