Our first day for this trek in the valley of roses will be especially devoted to our arrival in Marrakech.
Landing at Marrakech
We land on March 2 in Marrakech. We must then go through customs. However, we did not anticipate that there were forms to complete. If they are well given by airport staff, they do not lend pens … We are therefore obliged to appeal to the kindness of other travelers more far-sighted than us …
Passing the customs
Once filled, we pass the customs … well almost, we did not fill the address to which we will stay the first night. Having no network, I find just the name of the hotel but not the address. Fortunately, that’s enough. So we leave the area.
First evening in Morocco
Our guide Mohamed is waiting for us outside the airport. He takes us to our hotel in the heart of the old city of Marrakech. After completing the few paperwork at the hotel, we have free time. So we spend the afternoon pacing the streets and, of course, the souk of the city. We will have the opportunity to lose ourselves.
